Leaves are turning, apple cider is bubbling, and pumpkins are showing up on doorsteps. Fall has come to Ashland, and it’s time to make the most of this fleeting and beautiful season.
Our community is excited to once again bring you the events that have helped make Ashland an autumn destination. From music to farm-fresh treats to time with family under the deep blue skies, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Honey Haven Farm Fall Festival
Beginning September 29 and running every weekend through the end of October
Bring the family to explore all the fall activities Honey Haven Farm has to offer! Pick your own pumpkins, find your way out of a corn maze, browse local arts and crafts, and finish it off with a homemade apple dumpling or donut. If you run out of time for a horse-drawn wagon ride, come back–parking and admission to the farm are free!
Autumn Fiber Festival
Have enough fiber in your cultural diet? The Autumn Fiber Festival is excited to return for its 7th annual event at Ashland County Fairgrounds. Local fiber producers, craftsmen, and artists come together to show the importance of natural fibers to our community with demonstrations, education, and sales of their work. See the best in weaving, spinning, crocheting, rug-hooking, and more. This event offers an excellent opportunity to buy some Christmas gifts– including for yourself!
Symphony Holiday Pops Concert
Is there a better way to kick off the holiday season than with music? On November 26th, Ashland Symphony, joined by Ashland High School A Cappella Choir and other area choirs, will present a pops concert designed to get your feet tapping and your spirits filled with cheer!
Madrigal Feaste
One of the community’s favourite holiday traditions, Ashland University’s Madrigal Feaste, will be celebrating its 43rd year! Sit for a four-course meal set in sixteenth-century England while performers in period costume from The AU Chamber Singers and the Madrigal Players regale you with theatre, comedy, and song. Tickets for this popular event sell out fast! Reserve yours on September 24.
