The second annual Ashland County Moms Group fundraiser will be held on August 26th in the American Legion parking lot. The event includes a trike-a-thon, as well as a gift basket raffle!*
Ashland County Moms Group will be creating backpacks to give to Ashland Department of Job and Family Services to be given to children in the foster system. These backpacks will contain essential necessities for kids of all ages who are entering the system. Each backpack is designed to be gender and very age specific. These backpacks include such things as a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, children's soap/body wash, children's shampoo, changes of clothing for the child's age, personal clothing (underwear, socks, pajamas), and age appropriate books and toys.
* Raffle tickets will be available during the event and winners will be drawn at the event's close. All winners will be contacted within 24 hours and given 48 hours to collect their prize(s).
