A Murder Mystery by Karen Vuranch
Preston Snobsworth III, son of Dr. Preston Snobsworth II and his socialite wife Celeste, is getting married. But, to everyone's surprise, he is not marrying his longtime sweetheart, Jill Tedd. Instead, much to the chagrin of his parents, he is marrying a no-name girl from the local orphange, Annie Moran. Annie has no family or even friends present, unless you count the Director of the Orphanage, Dr. Minerva Cheapskate, who according to Annie is definitely not a friend. The unusual wedding is performed by local Judge Justin Case and supervised by the ever-prepared wedding planner, Marion Amore and her assistant Lovey Higgins. Also present is the wedding singer extraordinare--Harry Highnotes!
