This September 7th and 8th, we would like to invite you to our farm to savor a beautiful Fall day in the country. Enjoy the peacefulness of our alpacas, the antics of our Angora goats, and the playfulness of our Angora rabbits. Learn about the many steps of fiber production on a small farm scale, and then enjoy shopping in our Farm Store. The last Picnic in the Alpaca Pasture will be this weekend. Bring a picnic, a blanket or chairs and sit in the pasture while watching the alpacas graze about. Been wanting to learn to spin your own yarn? Or just fascinated in how alpaca fiber gets turned into yarn? Come see Waunita and Marty demonstrate the ancient art of spinning! Interesting in learning to needle felt? There will be demonstrations going on throughout the weekend, and an assortment of Felting Kits for trying your own hand at needle felting! Have a sweet tooth? Tammy, owner of Tae’s Bakery will be joining us with freshly baked goodies! Pumpkin Needle Felting Kits are assembled and ready to purchase, complete with detailed instructions and lots of pictures.
