Long-time Ashland resident, Tom McNaull, will present a new program focusing on the Christmas 1968 flight to the moon of Apollo 8. The mission is remembered for three things: humankind's first trip to orbit another heavenly body; the stunning picture "Earthrise"; and the live TV broadcast on Christmas Eve from just 70 miles above the moon.
McNaull will also include some Ashland connections to the Apollo program and give a brief overview of the equipment that carried Borman, Lovell, and Anders to the moon. Please join us to re-live this great moment in American history.
